Talk to my dad…he’ll confirm I called the victory over the Packers right after the blow out loss to the Falcons 2 weeks prior.

Speaking of weird lets take a look at Thursday Night Football this evening…I think it’s a pretty easy pick, but it’s only -6.5 so maybe I’m the sucker. I know how good Green Bay is and I know how banged up San Francisco is, including at their quarterback position. I’d take Green Bay by three touchdowns. So give me Green Bay tonight (-6.5).
Let’s get to my bread and butter early this week…My Minnesota Vikings pick. The Vikings are at home against Detroit. I hate this game and am hoping Minnesota just survives. If Stafford (COVID-19) plays the line is Vikings -4. If he doesn’t, it’ll be higher. The Lions always make me nervous. I wouldn’t be surprised if Everson Griffen tees off on an offensive line he’s very familiar with and gets to Kirk Cousins 3-4 times. And truth be told I love their back-up QB (Chase Daniel) who’s had no problems beating up the Vikings in a Bears uniform in the past. I think the Vikings will win, but not by much. Give me the Lions (+4, or more if Stafford is out).
I like a lot of other games this week too.
I love the Cardinals (-4.5) over the Dolphins. I like the fact that the Dolphins won last week scoring points from everywhere except their offense. I don’t look for lightening to strike twice. While the Dolphins aspire to be on the fridge of greatness, they’ll be heads-up this week against the best up-and-coming team in the league, ready to lay out their blueprint. Arizona by double digits.
The Ravens play the Colts. I look for the Ravens to get back on track in a big way. No more analysis necessary. Even if the Ravens play bad they’ll only need to find a way to win. Easy pick. Give me the Ravens (pick’em).
The Chargers and the Raiders play this week in LA. I like both these offenses and their should be no problem with the weather this time. Give me over 51.5 points total in the Chargers-Raiders game.
I also like the Broncos-Falcons game to go over 50 Points. Both teams are bad on defense.
I like the Patriots and Cam Newton to use the Jets as their whipping boy to get back into the win column. Give me the Pats (-7.0) over the Jets.
The Steelers play the Cowboys this week. The ‘Boys will be running one of two quarterbacks out there to start, either of which the sports nation will have never heard of. Pittsburgh has one who’s been around 16+ years. Dallas has been dreadful. I’ll pick Pittsburgh to win by 20+. Give me the Steelers (-14.0)
I’m gonna keep riding the over with the Seahawks. They score, and give up, plenty of points every week. Give me Seahawks-Bills over 55 points.
I’ll also take the Giants (+2.5) to cover against the Washington Football Team. I mean why not? Should Washington ever really be a favorite?
