Week 6 NFL Locks and Vikings Prediction

First, let’s just get the obvious out of the way…fuck Jon Gruden and everyone else like him.

This week I like the Bills and the Chiefs. Both teams were on display last Sunday night and it appears Buffalo might be poised to take that next big leap this year. A lot of people are saying they are the best team in the NFL.

The Bills (-5.5) are playing on the road in Nashville Monday night against the Titans. I think Buffalo may come out a little sluggish in the first half but will ultimately pull away in the 2nd and win the game by double digits.

The Washington Football Team finds itself in the unfortunate position of having a leaky defense and playing the Chiefs after a loss. I’m guessing the Chiefs will be motivated and in the mood to put up plenty of points. I gotta believe winning by a touchdown is certainly feasible. Give me KC (-6.5) in Washington.

That brings us to the matchup in Carolina this week.

I really have no feel at all for who the Carolina Panthers are or what they’re about. I do know I’m glad it’s Sam Darnold taking the snaps. Mike Zimmer has been feasting on quarterbacks with limited mobility for damn near three decades. He should have plenty of chances to be aggressive with blitz packages this week.

The only thing I really have to lean on in predicting this game is my preseason prediction for the Minnesota Vikings and my track record with the team so far this year.

I’m 4-1 in Vikings picks this season and 5-0 against the spread. I have had a pretty good feel for the team all year.

That said, the only real feeling I have this week is to trust my preseason prediction of how this team will do.

Losing puts them at 2-4, with a tough schedule on the horizon, and looking up at a Green Bay team in the division that’ll likely be 5-1.

Not impossible to maneuver out of, but not likely either.

A win puts them at 3-3 going into their bye week, gives them a two game winning streak, and provides momentum (and an extra week of prep) going into their home game against the Cowboys Halloween night.

At 3-3, everything I expect this team to achieve this season is still right in front of them.

So with that as the backdrop, I’ll take Minnesota (-2.5) to win tomorrow by a field goal and keep their season very much alive.

Also I predict Danielle Hunter will have a multi-sack game. Possibly 3+.

GO VIKES.

SEASON LOCK RECORD: 5-3

SEASON VIKINGS RECORD: 4-1 (5-0 ATS)
