NFL Week 1 Lock and Vikings Prediction

These are both super obvious and easy.

If you like money go put a couple of units on the Rams (-7.5) over the Bears on Sunday night. The analysis is simple: Andy Dalton, under the bright lights, against that Rams defense.

That standing by itself is worth 14 Points. I’ll take the Rams 31-13.

The Minnesota Vikings travel to Cincinnati and start their season off against the Bengals.

This one is easy as well.

Take Cincinnati.

This has trap game written all over it.

In 2015 the Vikings were a trendy pick for many in the NFL media to make a run at it. They finished that year 11-5, won the division, and lost in the first round of the playoffs in heartbreaking fashion.

They started that season out 0-1, losing shamelessly and convincingly to the 49ers, who finished 5-11 that year.

This game has that type of feel. The local media in Minnesota is expecting big things from the Vikings this year. So is Mike Zimmer. So am I.

I still believe this team is one of the tops in the league.

But welcome to week 1 hell.

Ring-Ring! Wake up call!

Too many field goals for Minnesota in this game and the Bengals capitalize on all four of their trips to the red zone.

(And a possible Kirk Cousins drive at the end that comes up short)

I’ll take Cincinnati 28-20.

Lol. You think the Vikings are going 13-4 this year but they lose week 1 to the Bengals. You are fucking stupid man.
