I was texting with a friend of mine yesterday, one of the two or three buddies I have that check in on this site with any sort of regularity, and he was talking about something I had written.
During the back-and-forth with him I realized I never posted anything about the advertising that now shows up on this page.
Six weeks ago I allowed various sponsors to advertise on this site. Based on the previous four months of averaging anywhere from 13 to 16 thousand page views a week, I was eligible for that resource, and, as a result, am now getting paid for doing this.
It’s absolutely not a life changing amount of money, but I’m still very thankful, considering this whole idea started out as just a way for me to vent and get back to writing…something I’ve always liked to do…and for months was only viewed by my parents and a couple of buddies.
I even have a couple of regular readers in Germany now.

So this post is just a thank you to everyone who checks in on this site on a consistent basis. I know the new ad placements can be distracting, and a pain in the ass to navigate around, but I appreciate your continued support.
Especially ‘all you idiot Vikings fans.’
